West of Shwe Taung Tan Road: 1st to 14th

The west side of Chinatown – mostly residential, though of course there are lots of cafes and tea-houses. We have marked a couple of things that caught our eye. Please let us know if you think we have omitted something interesting!
Please note this is the ONLY map that is oriented West-East and not North-South.

Other things that caught our eye:
*1 Follow War Dan Road to the intersection with Bogyoke Aung San Road and you will find Sein Shwe Tailor on Bogyoke Road on the left side – making bespoke men’s suits.
*2 Myanm/Art – an art gallery at 64, Lan Thit Road.
*3 Myanmar Lacquerware – a large shop hidden behind a small door, with a great selection of modern lacquerware for good prices.
*4 A pottery shop at no. 120 (almost opposite the cinema)- for water pots, teapots and ceramic mortars.
